to join our New England team. This role can be based in any of our New England offices: Merrimack, NH / Boston, MA / Providence, RI / Glastonbury, CT / Portland, ME. Join our Structures Transportation Team and contribute to a growing organization that meets client objectives and tackles challenges. Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and/or construction of building and infrastructure projects. Participate in research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures or structural elements. Substantiate reports and documentation regarding material, installations, and construction specifications. Ensure deliverables meet or exceed industry standards for design, safety, and functionality. Perform professional structural engineering work and assist with Bridge Design tasks. Prepare contract drawings, specifications, and design calculations for bridge projects. Conduct structural analysis, load rating, and evaluation of existing structures for repairs/retrofits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution and compliance. Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers. Interact professionally with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients. Stay updated on latest structural engineering practices. Adhere to ethical decision-making and company policies. Perform additional responsibilities as needed. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or related field. 5-7 years of post-education experience in engineering, specifically in structural or bridge transportation projects. Proficient in structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build processes. Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management. Knowledge of relevant agency standards and software like AutoCAD and MicroStation. Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with emphasis on quality work. Ability to direct others effectively and uphold workplace safety. Willingness to work flexible schedules based on project requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Professional Licensure/Certification. Master's degree in Structural Engineering. BIM software capabilities. Working knowledge of AASHTOWare BrR software. Active involvement in Professional Societies.
