Job Summary

We have partnered with the largest and fastest-growing manufacturing of paper in North America and its need for a Lead Electrical Engineer. The individual in this role will serve as supervisory group leader for the E&I staff in addition to managing the daily technical support of operations and maintenance, as well as insuring code compliance throughout the mill.

What You'll Do:

Make assignments and support Engineering and Maintenance resources in the implementation of capital and major repair projects with strong emphasis on safety, environmental impact, quality, cost, and schedule.
Management of multiple projects concurrently from initial concept, evaluation of alternatives, estimating, schedule, cost forecasting, specifications, design, safety reviews, bid review and selection, installation and commissioning, training, spare parts, and documentation.
Provides power system support expertise which includes engineering, design, and operations support of generators and auxiliary systems, excitation systems, high voltage power distribution systems, arc flash analysis, digital and electromechanical relay protection, programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems, low and medium voltage power distribution systems and infrastructure, AC and DC drives, and process control systems.

Your Background Should Include:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
P.E. or PMP certification is a plus.
10+ Years’ Experience in a Heavy Industrial Environment (Pulp/Paper Experience, Power Generation, or other Heavy Industry Experience Preferred).
