To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Accounting Managerlocated in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager the Accounting Manager role will be responsible for establishing operational objectives and managing financial accounting and control.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead the consolidation accounting process to ensure accurate and timely month-end/quarter-end close from Total Flex perspective.
  • Acts as primary liaison of the consolidation team and communicate with all regions, completing accounting consultations and supporting corporate sites.
  • Lead Corporate Accounting team for annual impairment testing of Fixed Assets, quarterly review of press release and related documents.
  • Be a partner in maintaining SOX controls around consolidation processes, working closely with our SOX compliance and global accounting teams.
  • Develop and manage strong, collaborative relationships with peers in finance and business partners across the organization to understand the business and apply that knowledge to the financial statements and reporting.
  • Assist in the training and dissemination of new accounting guidance and policies and support the sites with implementation.
  • Build strong relationship and lead communications with FP&A, Investor Relations, Auditors, and IT Finance, and external third-party accounting service providers.
  • Leads projects as directed by line manager, VP controller or CAO
  • Lead, motivate and develop Senior Accountant in the team.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience and training.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
  • Masters Business Administration (MBA) or a Master of Science and Accounting (MSA) preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or a Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
