About the role  
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager, who has proven experience within a client relationship, account management or customer success position. As an Account Manager at Validis, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing a portfolio of key client accounts in the audit industry. Your primary focus will be on driving client satisfaction, promoting product usage and adoption, and encouraging long-term partnerships that lead to retention and growth. At Validis, we take pride in becoming a close partner with our customers. You will play a lead role interacting with you’re assigned customers on a weekly basis, to create the necessary trust required to build upon this relationships. You'll leverage your accounting industry expertise and account management skills to deliver exceptional value to clients. By implementing best practices and staying attuned to client needs, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success and expansion of Validis’ client relationships.


About You

The ideal candidate will have the following;

  • 4+ years’ experience within account management or client relationships.
  • MUST have understanding of b2b SaaS
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of 20+ customers, with a strong track record of success
  • Public accounting firm experience with focus on audit is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and concepts.
  • Able to follow-up effectively, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are consistently met.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.


Key responsibilities of the Account Manager;

  • Secure client renewals and drive additional usage of client contracts
  • Effectively and proactively engage clients in discussions on product adoption and alignment with clients strategic initiatives
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Develop customer loyalty & retention strategies for each account
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients
  • Support clients via email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and both virtual & in person meetings
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service; monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product
  • Responsible for working with the Sales/client delivery teams to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
