The Senior General Accountant role is suited for the individual seeking an opportunity for growth and development. To succeed in this role, the Senior General Accountant should possess the ability to conduct various intricate and complex accounting duties and projects. An ideal candidate for the Senior General Accountant role should be savvy in Excel, have excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, and could create and maintain a team-oriented environment. The Senior General Accountant should also be able to review and analyze current processes for potential improvements, meet timeliness in completing assignments with deadlines and due dates, and have strong integrity and ethics. A successful leader for this position is responsible for accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliation, general ledger management, fixed asset management, balance sheet preparation, and maintenance. Must be a self-motivated, reliable individual interested in joining our rapidly growing organization. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • 3+ years of senior-level accounting experience • 3+ years of supervisory experience (not required) • Familiarity with accounting and finance principles and procedures • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task • Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power BI are a plus. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality Essential Job Functions: ·

Manage month-end close process. ·

Applies a broad knowledge of advanced accounting methods and procedures. ·

Performs general ledger balance sheet reconciliations and verifies the accuracy of data. ·

Year End Audits. ·

Responsible for Bank Account Reconciliation. ·

Responsible for Credit Card Reconciliation. Responsible for Managing Account Payable, vendor invoices, submission to accounting system, and follow up . ·

Support monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet, account reconciliations, and accruals. ·

Responding to information requests and assisting with audits. ·

Analyze and summarize account information and trends. ·

Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential. Other Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support to controller and CFO as needed. Assist with other reporting requirements. Assist with occupancy and communications and other allocations in accounting software. Compliance with HIPAA and PHI regulations Follow and uphold La Clinica’s policies and procedures. Work collaboratively to ensure La Clinica’s mission and values. Department projects and other duties as assigned. Performance Evaluation:
