About the Job:

Our Concrete Construction Company in Hyattsville, MD., is currently seeking a Senior ACCOUNTING CLERK with excellent phone etiquette. The successful applicant needs to be well organized and have good written and verbal English skills. Notions of Spanish could be a plus.
Requirements:
  • Driver’s License is required. 
  • DICO fosters a friendly office environment where multitasking and prioritizing are important, and so is attention to detail.
  • The candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, problem-solving skills, and be dependable.
  • An optimistic attitude is desired, also, discipline to keep the work areas uncluttered. 

Administrative tasks include:
  • Answer, screen, and forward telephone calls. (low volume).
  • Keep appointment calendars and take messages.
  • Obtain and send information or documents by Internet, mail, and fax machine.
  • Greet walk-in visitors and customers and escort them to specific destinations.
  • Copy, file, and maintain documents and records.
  • Sort, distribute, and prepare mail and courier deliveries.

Jobsite visits could be required.
This position contributes to the security of the DICO Main Office by helping to monitor visitors' access.
