Our client offers a unique opportunity for the right finance and accounting professional. They are a legacy business with the value-creation potential of a new market entrant. To capitalize on that possibility, the finance and accounting organization is required to lead across all disciplines. This is not your standard financial reporting / general ledger accounting position. You will not (only) have the same journal entries to book and financial reports to issue each month. You will be a highly technical, data-driven, systems-championing professional who is not afraid of new challenges and will proactively support the improvement of operations across the entire company. Many new projects are under evaluation and will require your participation and leadership. These could potentially include new ERP, time and attendance, and project management systems. This is preferably an in-office role with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity after successfully completing an onboarding period. Key Duties Develop and drive the company's financial reporting, project accounting, financial planning and analysis, and business intelligence capabilities. Support execution of all accounting, finance, and administration transactional activities, to include payroll, accounts payable, billing, insurance, general ledger maintenance, and treasury functions. Identify, improve, and codify company financing, accounting, and administrative business processes and standard operating procedures. Support implementation of multiple new business systems and initiatives, to include a new ERP system. Work with operations leadership to develop both company-wide and project-level budgets and forecasts, to include detailed analyses of costs incurred and estimates to complete. Qualifications Highest ethical and work standards, while promoting the same attributes in others. Excellent listening and strong communication skills. Professional and pleasant demeanor with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills. Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred). Minimum three years of accounting experience. Extensive Microsoft Office suite experience, with particular emphasis on Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Goal Seek, etc.). Experience with construction-related / project accounting concepts and practices (preferred). Experience with cloud-based accounting / ERP systems, such as Sage Intacct, Netsuite, Acumatica, etc. (preferred). Experience with or interest in business intelligence, visualization, and reporting systems, such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Solver (preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
