Summary of Position:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) primary responsibility is to lead the business development strategy focusing on expanding our customer business and looking for new growth opportunities. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:

BA/BS degree or relevant experience
4+ years of experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or foreign equivalent in Business Management or related field, In lieu of degree 4+ years of relevant business development experience
IT product certifications a plus
Demonstrated Customer Relationship Skills
IT Product business development experience
IT OEM Certifications
Experience in Mobile technology use cases/solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in successfully developing and managing partner relationships
Demonstrated partner and customer relationship skills
Efficient at writing business proposals and presenting to executive teams
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Communication and negotiation skills

Have in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
