Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing the functions of the Human Resources Office under the guidance and direction of the HR Manager.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the process of reviewing resumes/applications, completing initial candidate screenings, and scheduling interviews. Assist with the onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Benefits Administration: Follow-up with new hires to collect appropriate benefits paperwork and submit to Corporate office for processing.
  • Timekeeping System: Complete entry of schedules into timekeeping system. Maintenance and approval of timecards for a weekly payroll processing. Produce reports for Store Management to ensure adherence to payroll budgets.
  • Coworker Support: Intake of coworker questions/concern for resolution by the HR Manager. Coordinate schedules to allow for coworkers to meet with HR Manager during onsite time, via phone, or virtually.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Prior retail experience, preferred
  • 2 to 4 years Human Resources Coordinator or similar experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn HR computer systems and other store systems
  • Schedule for the position will be 28 hours per week, including weekends.
