We are seeking a
Business Development Marketing Assistant
to join our team on a hybrid status between the Alexandria, VA Office and your home office. The ideal candidate will:
Support Business Development team in building client relationships.
Work with the business development team to develop and implement an overall strategy to broaden company information skill sets and access new markets.
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients; respond to their requests and work with them to resolve issues and meet their needs.
Maintain calendar(s) to ensure client meetings are routinely scheduled.
Schedule meetings, coordinating schedules with clients and other professionals, and confirm meetings 24 hours in advance.
Research potential client prospects through use of public and private media (or other sources as appropriate).
Position Requirements
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field (preferably Marketing or Business Administration)
Up to 3 years of experience with the following:
NAVSEA and/or Navy Industry
Marketing and research
Strategic communication skills
Ability to write clearly and professionally
Ability to operate collaboratively in a team
Ability to build and maintain spreadsheets tracking multiple pieces of data
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proactive problem-solving mentality and the ability to take ownership of tasks through completion
Reliability and responsiveness
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
