Job Description
Work as a business advisor, and at the direction of the ERP Manager; will be responsible to work across different business areas analyzing, defining, demonstration, implementing, and training users on Epicor ERP in a multi-company, multi-site, and multi-currency environment. Plants are located primarily in US-Midwest but also have one plant on East-Coast and one in Mexico. Will also aid in the business process discovery and documentation.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform business analysis review, documentation, and process improvements; includes collaborating with the business unit leaders to define new or enhanced processes and procedures that better meet business needs using ERP technology.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve adoption / business use
- Maintain and support ERP upgrades and installs at all our current locations and any future locations; this includes responding to Epicor ERP/Kinetic system issues/incidents documented in ticketing system.
- Ability to teach "quote-to-cash" functionality.
- Provide instruction, assistance, and support to Epicor system end-users
- Helps to develop timelines and project plans to drive the future integration of Epicor modules
- Ensure the on-time delivery of assigned project tasks and support tickets
- Testing of system modifications. Write procedure documents for newly installed modifications and operating procedures.
- Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing with the business users to ensure a high-quality delivery of new and upgraded functionality/systems.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain BI reports and dashboards
- Follow and comply with J-SOX policy and procedures
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelors or Associates in the field of Information Technology, Business or other equivalent field of study
- Minimum of (3+) years of Epicor ERP experience.
- Experience in following modules / functions necessary: quote-to-cash processing, financial GL setup/configuration, PowerBi (or other BI tools), BAQ/Dashboard
- Experience in following modules / functions beneficial: GL posting rules, BPMs, BAQs, SSRS, MRP, C#, SQL
- Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate clearly and concisely with management and end user community.
- Effective presentation and training skills.
- Travel required
