The Senior Oracle ERP Project Manager plays a pivotal role in steering a team of Oracle Implementation Managers and Analysts towards the successful deployment of Oracle ERP Cloud solutions. This position collaborates closely with the Digital Transformation (DT) product team, engages with various DT teams, and partners with Business Transformation initiatives.

The incumbent will lead a team operating within a hybrid agile framework, facilitating their preparation for sprint sessions, assisting in the collection of user requirements, validating data conversions, configuring solutions, and conducting thorough testing of the ERP system across Oracle and associated ecosystems. This role will also collaborate with DT teams to integrate functionalities such as automated system testing, ensuring alignment with EDO for consistent data and reporting standards.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that solutions are designed and implemented to meet both business and customer needs, while maintaining standardization across various manufacturing, sales, and distribution scenarios in Paint, Powder, Resin, Coatings, and Assembly.

The Senior Project Manager will foster an environment of learning and knowledge sharing among their managers and teams regarding business processes.

This role significantly influences the development and mentorship of team members, dedicating substantial time to their growth and enabling their success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delegating and allocating tasks to manage change effectively and ensure smooth information flow to relevant teams for successful deployments.
  • Adapting to rapid sprint cycles in a hybrid agile environment by coming prepared to sessions.
  • Ensuring consistent and timely configuration of the cloud environment across multiple modules and parallel implementations, in close collaboration with implementation partners.
  • Partnering with the Business Transformation organization to develop comprehensive user stories that accurately reflect business scenarios.
  • Utilizing Jira for tracking project milestones, eliminating reliance on manual spreadsheets for project management.
  • Bridging the gap between cloud ERP and associated boundary systems by ensuring functional requirements are met.
  • Assisting in the validation and implementation of user and IT security roles within Oracle, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
  • Leading the development of methods and models for data validation and standardization.
  • Collaborating with the Platform team on functional and technical specifications for extensions and reports.
  • Configuring OTBI reports and working closely with EDO and Product Owners to establish best practice reporting.
  • Conducting performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback, and recommending promotions or salary adjustments.
  • Reviewing performance evaluations from downstream managers to ensure consistency in assessment and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Designing and implementing a strategy for manager and team development, providing mentorship and guidance as necessary, and participating in the recruitment of new talent.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 12+ years in IT, with at least 8 years in leadership roles managing direct reports, and 6+ years in Supply Chain application configuration and implementation with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, or similar applications. Proven experience in supporting software applications and a strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical skills.
