Position Overview:

The purpose of this Junior Accountant position is to support the finance team in maintaining accurate and timely financial records, carrying out financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Junior Accountant will work under the supervision of the Senior Accountant to ensure that all financial documentation is maintained correctly and that financial reports are prepared accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial documentation. Support the Accounting team in the implementation of financial policies and procedures. Participate in the analysis of financial data and contribute to the development of financial strategies. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Provide support for the management of accounts payable and receivable. Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and advice. Support the Finance team during the auditing process.

Qualifications for the Junior Accountant:

Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
