PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Event Planner is experienced in event management/hospitality or related field to help produce events from conception through to completion. Must provide outstanding client service and organize memorable events that meet high quality expectations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications & Sales Force (Delphi) with training available. Must have a flexible work schedule.
Assist the Senior Event Specialist & Sales Special Events Team in liaising with clients to find out their needs and keep them up to date on the progress of the planning process for their event.
Assist in preparing the BEO learns from Senior Event Specialist packages, rates etc.
Ensures the availability of attendants needed from various departments to ensure a successful event.
Responsible for planning and organizing all in house meetings & events.
Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.
Communicate efficiently with internal departments.
Exercise excellent interpersonal skills.
Negotiate contracts with clients and service providers.
Multitask efficiently.
Identifying and solve client concerns.
Select the best price for products and services.
Efficient written and oral communications skills.
Maintain Event Binder.
Motivated self-starter.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Meetings and Event Management or a related discipline such as hospitality, marketing or public relations.
Work Experience:
At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience is required in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Delphi software is required.
