Software Engineer- 3 Month Contract - Remote, United States - W2 Only, No C2C

Summary: We are seeking a Data Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in software development. The ideal candidate is proficient in Python, AWS, and Splunk, and capable of automating data collection and aggregation. AWS and Splunk certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, test, and debug software systems and applications.
  • Serve as a technical expert on development projects.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and design.
  • Write technical specifications based on business requirements.
  • Support and document software functionality.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies.
  • Analyze code to find and fix errors.
  • Participate in design meetings and analyze user needs.
  • Prototype, refine, test, and debug programs with end users.
  • Automate data collection and aggregation.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, AWS, and Splunk.
  • Experience in data automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; AWS and Splunk certifications.
