Responsibilities

Designing and analyzing hydraulic systems based on customer needs and product performance. Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to develop comprehensive hydraulic designs and engineering plans. Design and produce detailed 3D layout models and drawings of the whole unit including skids/frame for production using SolidWorks. Performing hydraulic calculations, simulations, and modeling to predict the behavior and performance of hydraulic systems. Demonstrate working knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical system design including motor starter panel, variable speed drive, PLC'S and control panel wiring. Overseeing the construction and installation of hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Prepares functional test procedures for packaged equipment. Provides technical support to manufacturing during fabrication of equipment and participates in LEAN manufacturing process improvement initiatives. Aids field personnel during onsite field checks and commissioning of equipment. Supports applications engineering on technical issues related to preparation of proposals. Develops engineering design tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of work. Identifies and executes product standardization opportunities and participates in new product development programs. Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex hydraulic systems and propose effective solutions. Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor's degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of design experience related to mechanical hydraulic machinery and electrical system design required. Perform Hydraulic, heat transfer, & thermodynamic calculations. Ability to draw and read hydraulic and electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Experience with 3D modelling & making detailed drawings using SolidWorks preferred. Experience in programming PLC & HMI a plus. English Language
