The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the operation processes at all business locations. This role administers employee training, performance evaluations, and other procedures and acts as liaison between employees, HR, and other company departments. The Human Resource Coordinator makes certain training, performance plan and other procedures are administered in accordance with the company culture and that these provisions are followed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as a liaison between the companys departments.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Facilitates and implements new programs.
  • Develops and leads the onboarding process.
  • Conducts audits of company procedures and programs and recommends updated action.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Responsible for updated and overall functions the performance software.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to fifteen (15) pounds at times.

COMPETENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness to details.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to change focus frequently and often while being detailed oriented and well organized.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

  • At least two years related experience required.

PREFERRED:

  • Associates degree in related field required.
