Project Administrator Job Description

Barnes Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our team in Maumee or Brecksville, OH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to confirm project objectives, create detailed plans, and allocate resources.
  • Establish priorities and adjust schedules as needed to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to execute projects flawlessly.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using relevant tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a project coordinator or similar role.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a distribution/manufacturing setting.
  • Experience working with an ERP system.
  • Proven track record of taking initiative and driving projects forward.
  • Ability to manage large data sets and perform analytics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt communication to different audiences.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Project Management, Business Administration, etc.) preferred or equivalent work experience.
