Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to lead our Operating Room department in Maumee, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating department services with hospital functions, coordinating services, and developing policies to support service provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate department services with hospital functions
  • Coordinate and integrate services within the department and with other departments
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to guide service provision
  • Recommend qualified personnel to provide care
  • Determine qualifications and competence of department personnel
  • Assess and improve department performance
  • Maintain quality control programs
  • Provide orientation, in-service training, and continuing education
  • Recommend space and resources needed by the department
  • Participate in selecting outside sources as needed
