The Business Development Associate Lead help grow Korn Ferry’s business by partnering with our sales team and co-leading the BDA (Business Developmen Associate) team. You will directly manage a team as well as maintain individual partnerships with Business Development Directors (BDD). The BDA Lead will help drive new initiatives with leadership in areas of process improvement, team building and strategic projects.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Manage and anticipate needs of Business Development Directors (BDDs) in the prospecting and sales processes
Lead, account and contact management support
Scheduling meetings and interviews and managing calendars
Manage the placement process and update CRM and maintain data integrity
Assist the BDDs in strengthening their relationships with our clients and consultants
Help coordinate client events, reservations, and registrations
Complete other administrative support duties, such as:
Manage BDD calendars and email
Be a part of the Business Development Associate (BDA) team and support the business with special assignments when needed
Assist in creating and managing team process improvement and projects
Conduct business in a manner that supports the Korn Ferry values
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the organizational structure and performance management of the Business Development Associate team. This role is responsible for the direction, performance management and hiring for these positions.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
4+ years of customer-facing support experience in professional services or related industry required
Strong computer systems experience, Microsoft Office, CRM or ATS experienced preferred
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize effectively to meet required deadlines in a professional environment
Have a naturally high attention to detail, enjoy problem-solving, and are quick to learn systems and processes
Communicate with clarity and confidence to varying levels across the company
