TRISTAR is seeking an Logistics Management Specialist IV ( iPDM) for our government customer located in Crane, IN

Position Description:

  • The Logistics Management Specialist V will provide Specialized programmatic and Life Cycle Logistics support for the EO/IR projects within the MTS/USAF family of Programs for the Electro Optics Division
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum 10-15 years experience in DoD Acquisition Logistics support
  • Experience in DoD Logistics, Acquisition, Installation and Program Support
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Products Office (Project, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, VISIO and Word)
  • Knowledge with Government's Integrated Product Data Management system ( iPDM).
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of DoD, Government, or Industry Standards, Regulations, Handbooks, and Specifications related to the conduct of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and development and maintenance of Logistics Product Data IAW GEIA STD 0007 using industry and/or DoD standard applications
  • Demonstrated experience in shipboard installation process Navy Modernization Plan-Management Operations Manual (NMP-MOM) Technical education/experience that enables the candidate to interpret and apply technical documentation such as engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals preferred
  • Experience with Logistic Product Data (LPD) database programs (SLICwave, PowerlogJ, OPUS, COMPASS) or training to enable employee to develop proficiency in a database to support tasking
  • Experienced and detail oriented in Inventory Data Base management and tracking to include receipts, issues and inventory management using ERP, SWMS, and spreadsheets Management system ( iPDM)
  • Good communication skills both orally and written
  • Must be able to multi task
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • An active Secret Clearance (preferred) or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree desired
