Portfolio Administrator:

Mar Investments, a privately-owned 40-year+ Commercial Retail real estate development, investment, management and leasing company in Monterey Park, CA is currently seeking a Portfolio Administrator for its portfolio of neighborhood shopping centers. This full-time position would include responsibilities for the day to day management of the properties. The ideal candidate must be a team player with excellent written and oral communication skills and detail oriented.
Duties:
Collections
Posts rental payments by recording cash and checks transactions
Performs evictions on delinquent accounts.
Updates and reconciles monthly aged receivable.
Updates and validates all leases, new move-ins and move-outs.
Maintains tenants information accuracy.
Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
Yearly CAM reconciliation.
Explain and educates all leases documentations to tenants.
Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
Monthly reports to upper management.
Responds to tenants request and work with tenants to resolve problems and complaints.
Special projects as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:

Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of commercial property management experience required and a four-year college degree in business are preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and prefer some experience with YARDI or similar property management software. The individual must be willing to learn and assist in other related projects assigned such as due diligence in acquisitions and dispositions of properties.
