Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Assistant to join our team and support in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of diverse events while gaining valuable experience in the events industry.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion.
  2. Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, equipment rental, catering arrangements, and transportation.
  3. Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide financial reports as required.
  4. Provide on-site support during events, including set-up, registration, attendee assistance, and breakdown.
  5. Assist in the coordination of marketing and promotional activities for events, including social media campaigns, email newsletters, and printed materials.
  6. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to inform future event planning.
  7. Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining event databases, preparing documents, and responding to inquiries.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
  5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  7. A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
