Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.

River Edge is actively seeking a Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer and play a key role in analyzing past financial performance to predict future performance. This position is integral to advising the organization on its financial position within the SAMHSA CCBHC Readiness grant.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5PM

Duties & Responsibilities

Performs the analysis and reporting of productivity to the PPS rate for CCBHC and submit analysis to the CFO. Perform analysis and reporting of productivity to determine the PPS rate for CCBHC and submit the analysis to the CFO. Provide monthly reports to the appropriate SAMHSA delegate regarding grant performance and financial position. Monitor SAMHSA grant financial reporting requirements. Analyze and monitor budgets for compliance throughout the year; request budget revisions as needed. Analyze business and financial data. Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision-making. Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools to enhance data efficiency. Conduct financial analysis and forecasts; prepare routine and specialized financial reports to support CCBHC demands and operations. Interact with personnel at all levels within departments/divisions and other financial departments within CCBHC/SAMHSA to resolve accounting transaction or reconciliation issues. Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders. Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends. Assist with deficit clearance, review and confirmation of payments and expenses, residual transfers, and closeout. Provide data to analyze departmental research costs and present findings to department leadership. Meet with the Chief Financial Officer as needed to review and/or research finance status, explain productivity trends, and correlations between financial and organizational performance. Oversee spending trends on post-award grant accounts to ensure adherence to budgets and allowable expenses. Meet with faculty as needed to proactively plan for spending and proper financial management of grant accounts, including ensuring proper crediting and debiting of each account. Prepare and review routine finance reports monthly or as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related fields. Master’s in accounting or finance (Preferred) One (1) year of accounting and/or finance experience (Preferred). One (1) year of financial analytic experience (Preferred). One (1) year of experience in data automation (Preferred). One (1) year of demonstrated experience with advanced Excel and analysis tools (Preferred). Strong math skills and data visualization required. Provide 2 professional references. Competencies

Financial Analysis and Forecasting : Proficiency in analyzing financial data, interpreting trends, and forecasting future financial outcomes to support decision-making processes within the organization.

Data Automation and Analysis Tools: Experience in automating data processes and utilizing analysis tools such as advanced Excel functions, financial modeling software, and data visualization tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Grant Management and Compliance: Knowledge of grant management principles and compliance regulations, including familiarity with SAMHSA grant financial reporting requirements, ensuring adherence to budgets, and tracking allowable expenses.

Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with personnel at all levels within the organization, resolving financial issues, presenting findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with team members.

Problem-Solving: The ability to identify financial challenges, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions is crucial for addressing accounting discrepancies, optimizing financial processes, and supporting organizational goals effectively.
