Description Primary Duties You will lead the development and execution of our Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) strategy and sepsis management solutions. This role demands a strategic thinker, a creative collaborator, and a committed coach with a proven track record in marketing leadership. Team Leadership and Development: Oversee and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering in team members a sense of accountability and ownership, and providing strategic leadership and alignment with global portfolio strategy. AMR/AMS Strategy: Develop, execute, and continually refine a comprehensive strategy that positions bioMerieux as a leader in addressing AMR and advancing AMS practices within the healthcare landscape. Sepsis Management Solutions: Drive the marketing and promotion of innovative sepsis management solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to create awareness and understanding among healthcare professionals. Strategic Partnerships and Centers of Excellence (COE): Oversee the strategic partnership, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practices, expertise sharing, and optimal utilization of resources in value-based healthcare solutions. Lab Consultancy: Oversee the strategy and execution of the lab consultancy services business, including full P&L accountability. Clinical Consultancy: Lead the development and execution of a clinical consultancy services for AMS, providing strategic guidance to healthcare institutions seeking to enhance their antimicrobial stewardship programs. Market Insights: Utilize market research and data analysis to gain insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape, informing strategic decisions and positioning. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product development, sales, and clinical teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with product capabilities and customer requirements. Training & Education Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on marketing and/or microbiology/laboratory science and/or informatics preferred. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience 3+ year of people management experience required. 10+ years of experience in IVD/medical device industry (or functional equivalent) with marketing and/or strategic planning experience highly preferred. Proven track record of success in commercial roles with increasing scope of responsibility. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strategic Vision: Proven track record in developing and executing strategic marketing plans in the healthcare sector, with a deep understanding of value-based solutions. Healthcare Expertise: Strong background in healthcare solutions, particularly in AMR, AMS, sepsis management, and consultancy services within the healthcare laboratory setting. Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving teams towards successful outcomes. Customer-Centric Focus: A customer-first mindset with a proven ability to understand and address the needs of healthcare professionals and institutions. Analytical Acumen: Proficiency in utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions and tailor marketing strategies. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex healthcare concepts to diverse audiences. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
