Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans for projects using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, HydroCAD, etc.) and equipment;
- Use record documents, reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess site characteristics such as hydrology, topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects.
- Roadway and utility infrastructure design including roadway geometry, grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and soil erosion and sediment control.
- Coordinate with planners, engineers, environmental scientists, subconsultants, and other professionals.
- Participate in professional organizations.
- 2-5 years' experience.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Strongly prefer FE/EIT Certification
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines
