Bennett Thrasher ("BT") has an opening for a Client Service Specialist. The Client Service Specialist will perform diverse administrative duties as needed to increase the time the team has to execute client facing duties and support his or her relative team. We are looking for a team-oriented, highly organized, and proactive individual to ensure smooth operations of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • A thorough knowledge of the following software: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook, Engagement, Document, Portal Server, CPAS, telephone systems
  • A sound understanding of Firm's business and service lines
  • Knowledge of building, office and Firm services
  • A thorough knowledge of supporting technology to support daily functioning of the Firm. Measures include: copy machines, fax machines, scanners, supplies
  • Supports shareholder(s) and managers(s) with administrative functions as appropriate. These include: setting up new clients, preparation of Power of Attorney Forms, pulling information from IRS accounts, maintenance of Film Tax Credit records, uploading and downloading client documents to and from portals, assisting with other various client requests, assistance with tax software, back up reception duties, assisting team administrators and special projects as needed
  • Supports the daily operations of the Firm and Service Line. This includes ordering supplies, mailings, filing, errands, catering, event planning, receptionist coverage and other duties as appropriate
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships across the firm
  • Contributes and supports new ideas on internal processes
  • Receives feedback openly to minimize repeated errors and apply new concepts

  • Maintains open communication with management regarding the progress of completion on projects
  • Participates actively in training and developmental opportunities
  • Utilizes computer applications and relevant technology effectively
  • Enters time daily
  • Participates in Firm events
  • Commits to outside reading, studying and professional growth
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Proven time management, organizational and prioritization skills
