Our client is seeking candidates who have managed a sales team, specializing in upselling clients on additional goods/services and has a solid background in outbound sales calls, potentially with an established book of high-end clientele within the Los Angeles and surrounding area market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Appointment Setting Department and Business Development Team, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all activities.
- Create and execute strategic plans to meet company goals, including increasing bookings, maximizing opportunities, and expanding the client base through effective upselling strategies.
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members, setting performance standards and tracking their progress.
- Address client discrepancies and concerns professionally, ensuring all issues are resolved to the clients satisfaction and maintaining the company’s high standards and reputation.
- Manage operational challenges efficiently, collaborating with the finance department to minimize financial impact.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture within the team.
- Participate in recruiting, training, and developing business development and appointment-setting staff.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring a seamless and premium customer experience.
- Step into client-facing roles as needed.
- Generate and analyze reports to identify areas for improvement in bookings and business development, including upselling strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving business objectives.
- Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and acquire new business leads.
Requirements:
- Proven team leadership experience in Business Development Management or in a similar leadership role, preferably in a high-volume, high-end outbound sales environment with a focus on upselling and business outreach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team to meet and exceed targets.
