Bryan Equipment Sales, Inc., a STIHL outdoor power equipment distributor located in Loveland, Ohio, is seeking a Territory Manager to maintain and grow sales with an existing retailer base, while prospecting new business, for our Columbus and Dayton markets.

Responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating opportunities and then developing, maintaining, and executing a business plan for the specific territory. Organize call plan using ABC/123 process and maintain monthly calendar reflecting schedule of call plan. Establish, develop, and maintain qualified STIHL retailers in the marketplace through sales, technical, and business trainings. This requires the ability to use and demonstrate all products. The individual will need to monitor and report market and retail sales conditions regularly as assigned and develop and maintain long-term business relationships with retailers. Required attendance of sales meetings, trainings, trade shows, product demonstrations and other events will make moderate overnight travel mandatory. Position requires a very high degree of interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and leadership to motivate, persuade, and inspire retailers. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, confident, decisive, and action oriented. Good problem-solving and communication skills are required.

The qualified candidate should have a bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or 5 to 10 years industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Individuals must possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and reside in the Greater Columbus area.
