Assistant Estimator

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role will work collaboratively with the estimating team to coordinate plan procurement, bid preparation and bid review with our estimating administrators.

What youll do:

Perform estimating activities and duties including:

+ Reviewing project documents including contract, plans, specifications

+ Attend pre-bid meetings as required, some travel may be required

+ Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare complete cost estimates

+ Prepare and manage material and subcontractor pricing requests

+ Interface with field leadership to prepare preliminary project execution plans

+ Assist with proposal preparation

+ Support project management on award contracts

Who you are:

We are pursuing candidates with the following qualifications:

+ Experience with estimating and scheduling software desired

+ Construction experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office required

+ Strong work ethic

+ Highly detailed and task oriented

+ Ability to prioritize, manage time, and multi-task

+ Excellent communication

+ Ability to work cross functionally with all leaders and divisions throughout Aldridge
