LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a Financial Analyst to join our clients team. As the Financial Analyst, you will be tasked with the comprehensive analysis of costs and pricing to uncover potential areas for cost reduction and effective variance management. This role involves a thorough examination of financial data to identify inefficiencies, optimize pricing strategies, and support the organization's financial health by recommending cost-saving measures. The analyst plays a crucial role in driving profitability and ensuring that all financial aspects align with the company’s strategic goals. Responsibilities: Analyze costs and pricing to identify opportunities for cost reduction and manage variances. Conduct detailed analysis of actual, standard, and quoted costs for labor and materials. Investigate discrepancies between sales orders, purchase orders, and work orders against quoted costs and standards. Examine expenses and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). Provide clear and concise reports and metrics to management teams. Offer data-driven advice to managers on improving profit margins and cost efficiency. Communicate key financial insights to the President and leadership team. Qualifications: Experience in financial analysis, particularly in product/job costing, variance analysis, and profit margin analysis. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables. Experience extracting and interpreting complex data from SQL and Access databases for operational use. Background in a manufacturing environment, ideally within component or assembly sectors. Experience with cost methods in ERP systems. Ability to make informed operational and management decisions under changing conditions. Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, supply chain, or a related field.
