As a Senior People Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in employee life cycle event support, with a focus on People process documentation, policy management and employee experience support. You will work with partners to map and improve People team processes, create and manage tools to support employees through transition events and play a key role in building and maintaining an employee knowledge base. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate complex People team processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Job Aid Creation and Management: Develop job aids and quick-reference guides to assist employees and managers in navigating People-related tasks and processes.
  • Process Documentation: Document and improve existing People processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Project and Change Management: Lead or support projects within People Operations, ensuring milestones are met, resources are allocated effectively and stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • SOP Development: Collaborate with people team members to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that clearly communicate People policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge Base Management: Maintain and update the People Team's knowledge base articles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
  • Handbook Support: Manage updates and revisions to the company handbook, ensuring it reflects current policies and procedures.
  • Leave of Absence Experience Support: Evaluate and work with broader People Operations team to ensure leave of absence experience is seamless and clear to employees and their supervisors. Partner with the Total Rewards team to develop and maintain support materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and streamline processes that impact employee life-cycle events to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

The Skills and Qualifications You Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on policy documentation, process management, compliance, or employee life-cycle events (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing projects.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
