DescriptionCome help us build PicklelandOur goal is to become the best pickleball facility in Austin. As the Happiness Coordinator, you will be in charge of creating a delightful customer service experience from the moment a customer walks in the door.Pickleland offers a fun and active work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for growth and development. If you are passionate about customer service and have a love for pickleball, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.ResponsibilitiesProvide awesome customer serviceGreet and welcome members and guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.Answer phone calls and in-person inquiries and/or address complaints.OperationsManage the front desk, includingcash handling, point-of-sale transactions, and inventory with direction from managementProcess membership registrations, court reservations, cancellations/refunds, and facility rentals.Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.Promote other services of the club, such as coaching, pro shop merchandise, and special events.Work special and private events as needed, helping with vendor/catering setup and teardown.Organization and CleanlinessMaintain a clean and organized front desk area.Clean all surfaces, bathrooms, and courts frequently as needed but no less than once per shift.Process deliveries and manage the distribution of messages.Restock merchandise and supplies.SafetyEnsure visitors adherence to all facility policies and procedures.Ensure liability waivers are completed by all visitors prior to entering the facility.Write incident reports for accidents and injuries and communicate them to the appropriate personnel.FunSub-in for pickleball when there are not enough people at the facility.Oversee open play and coordinate level play.Come up with creative ideas to make Pickleland even better.Delight our customers Go the extra mile to make someones birthday that much more special, make someone feel extra welcome.Help develop Picklelands online and social media presence.Qualifications:Must love pickleball ????Familiarity with the game, rules, and customs of Pickleball.Outgoing and friendly personality.Strong verbal and written communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent.Strong customer service orientation.Can you put yourself in the shoes of an avid pickleballer who plays daily and also in the shoes of someone who is playing for the first time?Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs)Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Dependable and reliable.Great at remembering names and facesSuccessful completion of a background check may be required[Bonus] Familiarity with court scheduling software (such as CourtReserve, PodPlay, etc)[Bonus] CPR certified[Bonus] TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certificationPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.Bending, Stooping, Lifting, Pulling occasionally.Capacity to work for extended periods in noisy environment.Work ScheduleAvailable to work variableshifts from: 6am-11pm, 7 days a weekFull-time is 35-40 hours a weekPart-time is 15-20 hours a weekCompensation$12/hrDiscretionary bonuses availableFree Pickleland Membership to play after work or on days-off if you work 20+ hours per week
