Summit Credit Union, voted a top workplace, has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager - Fraud Services. This individual will provide support to both internal and external members, with an emphasis on member account and card fraud and disputes. They will protect member interests through the prevention and mitigation of fraud activities. They provide leadership in the Fraud Services department and management of day-to-day activities. They collaborate and coordinate activities across internal departments and external partners.

Expected Outcomes

  • Fraud events are identified, monitored, and mitigated in timely manner.
  • High levels of member satisfaction and confidence.
  • Summit losses are maintained within budget.
  • Cross-department collaboration yields changes to policies and procedures which reduce fraud losses.
  • Fraud Services team is cohesive, engaged, motivated, and achieving key goals.
  • Partnerships with our vendors adding value to our members and credit union.
Capability Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or combination of applicable work experience and education.
  • Five years financial service industry experience which includes supervisory experience and 3 years Fraud experience.
  • Proven change leader. Ability to identify, inspire, communicate, and implement change.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direction and guidance to others to deliver results.
  • Professional well-developed writing and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with credit union staff, members, and outside partners.
  • Strong ability to analyze system functionality, test new processes, and implement change.
  • Proven process improvement and critical thinking abilities along with high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
