What You Will Do:

The Marketing Channel Optimization Analyst, is responsible for informing marketing across the digital and traditional marketing channels for National Louis University. Channel touchpoints include, but are not limited to, digital ads, streaming video and audio, web content, campaign landing pages, television ads, and other digital and traditional content. Duties include working with management and external agencies to guide marketing activities across all channels to achieve business objectives, and creating and managing weekly and monthly reporting and analysis to continually improve marketing spend to meet (and exceed) objectives. The Analyst will collaborate with marketing leadership and external agencies to ensure optimal usage of marketing channels to achieve business objectives. This entails various duties and responsibilities, such as: Developing and managing marketing reports, making recommendations on marketing channel allocation, monitoring and ensuring marketing is achieving goals set for each vertical unit in the university. Researching and staying up to date on the latest developments in terms of digital marketing and reporting, content trends, and consumer behavior. Making recommendations on the development of marketing reporting, usage of new consumer-facing channels.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage marketing reporting, marketing media mix models and attribution models. This includes analyzing at a channel and campaign level, ensuring business objectives are met efficiently, and marketing channels are continually optimized.
  • Develop and support monthly executive marketing reporting.
  • Collaborating with all marketing team members to achieve department objectives.
  • Ad hoc marketing reporting and data requests supporting marketing leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing analytics and reporting, digital media, channel management and/ media experience
  • Comprehensive expertise with Microsoft Office tools especially Excel. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Power BI, Salesforce/Pardot, and willingness/aptitude to learn new tools and marketing technology.
  • Experience working independently on projects but strong team acumen to foster coordination with the marketing team and other stakeholders within the institution
  • Project Management Skills - Manages each stage of a project to ensure that commitments are met in a manner that is timely and within budget. Clearly defines roles and responsibilities, determines necessary resources, and monitors project performance through appropriate systems and procedures.
  • Decision Quality - Gathers enough information to allow a trustworthy assessment of risks and benefits of alternative approaches in any decision. Stays focused on objectives and considers both the short-term and longer-term impact of decisions and keeps objectives in mind throughout the process.
  • Communication/Interpersonal - Communicates effectively and appropriately. Uses good judgment as to what to communicate to whom as well as the best way to get that accomplished. Speaks in a clear and credible manner, selecting the right tone for the situation and audience. Listens to others and allows them to make their point.
  • Flexibility - Adjusts quickly and effectively to changing conditions and demands. Discusses change as a necessary and inevitable aspect of organizational life as well as an opportunity to learn new things. Has a similar view and approach to potentially stressful situations. Invests personal energy toward accepting and adapting to change that others use toward resisting or resenting it.
