Job overview:

Relay's Revenue Marketing Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketing, sales and customer data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for revenue growth strategy and performance improvements. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data from various sources to support sales and marketing leadership in decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a consulting and/or consultative background, experience working with senior leadership, managing systems change, and thriving in a hyper-growth environment.

What you will do:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret marketing and sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for revenue growth strategy and performance improvements.
  • Analyze top-of-the-funnel information as well as data from disparate systems as customers move through the quote-to-cash process.
  • Develop and maintain revenue dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide visibility to sales leadership, enabling better decision making through easier access to critical data sets.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity within various CRM systems.
  • Synthesize workflows and data from various systems and CRMs to create comprehensive and cohesive data sets for analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Operations team to implement processes and CRM systems changes to capture missing data or correct inaccuracies.
  • Develop and utilize data visualization tools to present data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and pipeline projections.
  • Monitor and analyze pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales cycle length to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic consulting to senior leadership, leveraging data insights to drive business decisions and revenue growth strategies.
  • Be part of the process of evolving systems change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Navigate and contribute to a hyper-growth environment, adapting quickly to evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Support sales and marketing leadership with other data-driven insights as needed.
What you will bring to this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in business analytics, consulting, or a similar role within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present data effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Zoho) and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams and with senior leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create clear and actionable reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing systems change and driving process improvements.
  • Understanding of marketing and sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and the technology industry is a plus.
  • Experience in a hyper-growth environment is highly desirable
