SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Demand Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting and managing the demand for our B2B customers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain demand forecasts for B2B customers and 3PL partners based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather relevant information and insights for demand forecasting.

Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.

Monitor and adjust forecast accuracy by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast error, bias, and inventory turnover.

Execute purchasing business processes with overseas suppliers, primarily focusing on purchase order processing as well as invoices and payments.

Maintain Supplier delivery status within various data management systems and or receipts reports with the ability to trouble shoot and resolve discrepancies.

Work closely with the procurement team to ensure optimal inventory levels, balancing customer demand and cost efficiency.

Provide input to the supplier and supply chain process in developing inventory priorities on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

Inventory evaluation between all warehouse locations and implementation of any necessary transfers.

Support Suppliers with product information including UCClabel and purchase orders.

Coordinate with the production team to align manufacturing and supply chain activities with the demand forecast.

Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure accurate forecasting, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning accuracy and efficiency.

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in demand planning and supply chain management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. (preferred)

Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in a B2B and 3PL environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.

Strong understanding of B2B e-commerce platforms, such as Wayfair, Castlegate.

Excellent knowledge of forecasting methods and techniques.

Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills (Excel- Pivots, V-lookup, etc.)

Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and 3PL.
