The eProcurement Associate Specialist is an entry level eProcurement position that supports all activities such as system integration between customers and MSC. In this role, the ePro, Associate Specialist works closely with ePro Specialists supporting the onboarding process, working with customers to establish an optimal integration focused on achieving low cost to serve through an efficient and accurate transaction process. This role has responsibility to work with sales to ensure a timely and complete submission of new opportunities through Salesforce ePro Workstream before moving new project into the queue for our ePro Specialist to begin the onboarding process. The eProcurement, Associate Specialist will be in position to observe and support all integration activities while playing a key role in assisting the process to ensure the highest quality integrations are completed. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports Discovery process for all new integration and onboarding opportunities including working closely with Sales, Specialists, customers and ITB2B to deliver projects within established SLA’s Works closely with Specialist and B2B Manager in supporting all eProcurement Integration and support projects. Supports data gathering and discovery calls Maintains production database (QuickBase) through entry of all necessary project data and updates information as required throughout lifecycle of project Evaluates & validates new opportunities for integration that are submitted through salesforce. Works with Analytics & Reporting resources to create and improve customer facing metrics and measures associated with Total Cost of Ownership. Performs analyses as needed. Develops relationships with many of our larger customers & sales owners through engagement in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Responsible for maintaining eProcurement documented processes including Quickbase/ServiceNow, Salesforce Workstreams and support customer facing documentation and communication Maintains content and keep current eProcurement Solutions Page on mscdirect.com Utilizes and maintains eProcurement Roadmap for all NEW integration opportunities. Communicates with Internal Business Owners and Customers as to the requirements and status for all eProcurement Opportunities. Liaison for updating training materials to educate sales team on eProcurement implementation process. Supports Key Performance Indicators including PO Automation Rates, Time-To-Money and project completion rates. Provides eCommerce Customer Service Representatives with up-to-date information required for business transactions. Maintains and extends strong and positive relationships with internal and external customers. Fosters the MSC Culture within the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required. Demonstrated leadership skills through campus involvement, extracurricular activities, or employment Working knowledge of PunchOut, Hosted Catalogs and document transaction B2B Integration via EDI & XML is preferred. Some experience with eProcurement Partners such as Ariba, Coupa, etc. is preferred. SKILLS:

PC skills proficient-apply and use Excel/Word for data analysis required. Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills are required. Self-motivated and driven – a goal-based orientation with an ability to drive toward quick results. Flexible individual capable of adapting to the constant change in technology and business process. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills preferred OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
