Adepto Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading all materials acquisition technical procurement activities for our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure the site has the correct materials available to meet production plans and CAPEX portfolio.
  • Lead the negotiation and management of materials vendors to secure best commercial terms for the business.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement-related risks, including market knowledge and technical expertise, to the wider organization.
  • Manage SAP material master data and agreements to ensure accurate and timely procurement processes.
  • Process purchase requisitions and produce timely and complete POs.
  • Maintain stock inventories for the site and implement best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Onboard new vendors, vet them, and get them approved for onsite work or services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of front-line technical procurement experience within the chemical industry.
  • Contract negotiation experience required.
  • Experience of leading teams in a diverse working environment.
  • BA/BS degree; having a technical background would be considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English essential.
