Responsible for driving MSV endorsement of all media types including DDR4/DDR5/LPDDR5 and emerging memory on a CXL product. Identify and solve complex problems around Characterizing, Optimizing and Validate the media at the backend of the CXL product. Set up testing infrastructure, test code definition, data analysis, and present data & recommendations to Component, System, QRA, Media Architecture, and design group. Define media (DRAM/HRAM) related Test Coverage, Corner cases & Test definitions for effective MSV on a CXL product. Characterize, Optimize and Validate media settings on a CXL module. Provide trade-off feedbacks and recommendations to component team for yield and Media architecture and Design groups for next generation cost/performance decisions. Align with Global Qual group with testing conditions etc. and corresponding look ahead data to ensure smooth QR. Work closely with PE Reliability team to setup tests and data collection on MSV setup to help best project media AFR/FITs in end product. Set up infrastructure (Hardware/Software) to enable all functions of MSV. Improve efficiency, coverage, turnaround time of validation activities. Serve as the primary Media expert for all system validation teams. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of experience in a semiconductor product engineer-related occupation. Experience must include: Experience in C/C++, Python and Matlab; Semiconductor Device physics; Knowledge of mixed signal ICs, SSR, Power IC and ASICs; Semiconductor Product Test and Characterization experience; Semiconductor chip Reliability analysis; Product Qualifications: HTRB, HTS, MSL, AECQ-100; Understanding Analog and Digital circuit designs; and Knowledge of optical semiconductor IC packaging.
