INTAKE SUPPORT SPECIALIST - Full Time position available
BENEFITS

COMPENSATION
$19.89 - $20.85 per hour
* Offers based on education and years of relevant experience
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides intake support for Congregate Care department/CBT
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
1.Provides support to Congregate care departments (handles correspondence, referrals, maintains database including Netsmart, Connections, google drive etc)
2.Reviews intake process with parents or referring agency/school (if needed)
3.Assists with insurance screening to help determine if parent has viable insurance for child to be placed with New Directions.
4.Acquires all necessary consents/ documentation prior to admission and update annually.
5.Opens, closes and maintains records and in electronic databases.
6.Admits and discharges youth from care.7.Distributes admission notices and status change at time of admission, discharge or if needed during placement within the departments.
8.Maintains an up-to-date standard operating procedural manual of duties.
9.Types memos, correspondence, reports and other documents.
10.Attends all mandatory in-service training and regularly attends supervision meetings.
11.Assists in PQI tracking data and COA preparation as needed
12.All duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
SKILL, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education and/or Professional Qualifications/Skills
•Associates degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school; or
•Minimum six months related experience and/or training; or
•Equivalent combination of education and experience.
