Your Role in Action
  • Collaborative Caregiver: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
  • Assessment Expert: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the medical and developmental needs of our clients, guiding our treatment planning to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Medication Management Specialist: Safely administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and care, prioritizing the health and well-being of our clients.
  • Behavioral Support Specialist: Monitor and respond to changes in client behavior, providing timely interventions to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Family Empowerment Specialist: Educate and support families in becoming champions of care, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to support their child's journey beyond the therapy room.
  • Interdisciplinary Team Player: Collaborate with external healthcare providers to ensure seamless, integrated care for our clients, including pediatricians, psychologists, and specialists.
  • Documentation and Quality Improvement Specialist: Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment interventions, contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Team Trainer and Educator: Share your expertise through team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities, contributing to the evolution of best practices in ABA therapy and pediatric nursing.
Your Skills and Talents: A Winning Combination
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in pediatric nursing, with a preference for experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive within an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, committed to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
  • Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each client and their family, exhibiting empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity
  • Upholds confidentiality and professionalism while fostering a supportive and empowering environment for clients and colleagues alike
