Role Description Newell Brands is seeking an Analyst, Brand Finance to support the Calphalon and Crock-Pot brands. The role is focused primarily on the US domestic market, with some global exposure and will primarily work with the Brand Management team on innovation and other initiatives to support and drive profitable growth. Primary Responsibilities Supports the New Product Development process (Innovation and Renovation) working with cross-functional stakeholders, including Brand Management, Customer Planning, Sales, and Brand Cost Finance. Including but not limited to the following: preparing financials and input into Anaplan, analyze changes vs. previous project stage and supporting cross-functional team members as needed. Input into monthly close processes by providing explanations on key P&L drivers for the month vs. forecast, budget, and prior year including but not limited to customer and product volume/mix, trade spend, and advertising and promotions. Support the preparation of the monthly forecast, annual budget, and strategic plans, working closely with Brand Management, Customer Planning, and Supply Chain. Prepare periodic reporting and analysis with development and enhancement thereof, provide profitability insights to drive profitable growth and reduce risks. Liaison with Brand Cost Finance to summarize impacts of standard costs and manufacturing variances for historical, current, and future key material costs. Foster positive and collaborative relationships within finance team, cross-functional and regional leadership. Support process improvement projects, partnering with key stakeholders. Ensure ongoing governance, control, and compliance with both Corporate and external procedures and audits. Qualifications And Experience Preferred For This Role Strong analytical skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1-3 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG). Strong proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products. Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks. Ability to work as part of a team and interface with others across all levels of the organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
