Compensation: $28 - $32 hrly (Dependent on experience) plus a 10% shift premium added to straight time pay rate

The Process Control Specialist is responsible for providing ongoing technical support of the operations and process engineering functions within an assigned Production Center. In this role, the Process Control Specialist is tasked with developing, recommending and facilitating the installation and/or modification of control schemes and strategies which will improve overall plant efficiency and profitability. This position works closely and cross-functionally with management, instrumentation specialists, electricians, production personnel and maintenance personnel.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Support and maintain all aspects of the manufacturing control systems, batching software/servers, work stations and networks
- Provide support, including after hours when necessary, for process or equipment issues pertaining to electrical and/or control systems
- Coordinate process control projects from design to implementation
- Lead activities to optimize and improve process control systems and procedures
- Coach and train maintenance personnel on new and existing equipment installations
- Stay current with technology through professional development programs and seminars

**Job Requirements**:

- 3+ years of Process Controls experience required
- Previous experience in a high-speed production environment preferred
- SCADA programming using AB, WonderWare, and IFix software
- PLC programming using RSLogix5, RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 software
- Motor controls using AB, Danfoss, and Yaskawa VFD drives
- DH+, RS232, D-Net, and E-Net communication protocols
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization
- Proven credibility with both management and workforce
