Position Summary:

We are in search of a seasoned Business Process Specialist for SAP Finance and Controlling to join our team and play a pivotal role in advancing our SAP systems and processes. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, testing, and refining business processes within the SAP FI/CO modules. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs, pinpoint optimization opportunities, leverage SAP best practices to streamline workflows, and collaborate with the SAP CC Team for implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to evaluate their needs and discover opportunities for process enhancement within the SAP FI/CO modules.
  • Analyze current SAP FI/CO business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Design and document innovative SAP FI/CO processes and workflows to boost efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
  • Implement process enhancements within SAP utilizing industry best practices and SAP functionalities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external SAP functional consultants and developers to configure and customize SAP solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive SAP process documentation, including process flows, procedures, and training materials.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new SAP processes and functionalities.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of implemented SAP process improvements and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP FI/CO business processes, offering guidance and support to stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules and processes, along with a general understanding of other modules, particularly those that generate financial postings.
  • Strong grasp of SAP business processes and the integration between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex business process issues.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Able to produce user documentation that clearly articulates processes or procedures.
  • SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus, though not required.
  • Background in bookkeeping or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
