**About Our Assistant Teacher Position**

We are seeking an assistant teacher to work closely with the head teacher to help implement the wonders of science to life in the classroom. **Work hours are from 8am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, plus professional development meetings from September to June. Hourly pay ranges from $15-18 depending on education level and experience.** This position is currently available for our Cobble Hill & Park Slope location. Here are some elements of the position:

- Plan, execute and collaborate with other teachers on preschool curriculum and science-based curriculum planning on a daily basis.
- Be in charge of safety and cleanliness in the classroom at all times
- Facilitate nap time and assist with meals
- Organize and restock classroom, supplies, and storage area as needed

**Qualifications / Expectations**
- 2+ Years Experience in an Early Childhood Education Setting REQUIRED
- High School Diploma REQUIRED
- Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Early Childhood Education PREFERRED
