Overview:
**Duties**:
**Billing / Receivables**
- Provide billing and receivables support related to day-to-day, monthly, and quarterly tasks, as well as post-to-report account activities and finance operations.
- Support accounting operations for project financial management, project billing and receivables functions, grants prepaid billing functions and fund management, capital billing and funding reporting, audit research and response.
- Perform period-end close activities, including preparing account journal entries with supporting backup documentation and preparation of journal entries for sub-ledger accounting,
- Perform account reconciliation with supporting backup documentation.
- Ability to prepare written responses related to account report variance and responding to internal requests.
- Ability to research unmatched/unallocated receivables and prepare allocation recommendation(s)

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., PeopleSoft) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate resolutions

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience level:

- 5 years
- 6 years

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
