**Position Description**:
Crisis Clinical Program Director will be responsible for clinical oversight of the program, performing, documenting, and approving initial and comprehensive assessments, providing supervision to counselors and overview of their caseloads, review and approval of treatment plans. Participate in crisis stabilization services to participants and family members providing outpatient therapy, person specific interventions and provide telephone support and guidance to counselors for emergency crisis calls.
**Qualifications**:
- Meet the requirements of a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or License Eligible, with VA Board of Counseling, have an active VA license as a licensed clinical psychologist, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, or certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist/practitioner.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) and/or Certified Pre-Screener
- Determines participant program eligibility through a thorough service specific assessment.
- Individual service planning through development and implementation
- On-going and routine supervision of crisis stabilization team members
- Ensure clinical standards are maintained in service delivery and on written documentation.
- Identify and utilize techniques, interventions, and strategies to enhance participants, strengths, life and social skills, and behaviors.
- Building healthy rapport and alliances with support team
- Train staff members and implement crisis stabilization and intervention techniques.
- Provide telephone support for emergency crisis calls and when needed crisis stabilization services to participants and family members.
**Required Experience**:
- Administering assessments and supports for individuals with a behavioral/mental health diagnosis: 2 years
- Experience in managing and leading of a behavioral/mental health support program, a plus.
Position reports to: Clinical Director
, M-F 9am-5pm
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
