**Duties Description**
The Office Assistant 2 will support the Division’s Bureau of Operations (Ops). Duties of the position will include, but may not be limited to:
- Provide clerical and Operational office support work mainly at 800 North Pearl St., however some travel to other OMIG Regional Offices is expected as well.
- Receive, inventory, and distribute supplies and other materials within OMIG’s central office. Manage OMIG storerooms including the inventory of OMIG Stock Room items. Coordinate offices deliveries internally and externally.
- Manage secure document destruction bins and coordinate pickup with the contracted vendor.
- Oversee agency space; ensure conference Rooms and shared spaces are organized, equipped, and ready for use; staff workstations are in good working order, and ready to be occupied. Ensure OMIG assets (fleet vehicles, furniture, equipment, etc.) are in good working order; Conference rooms and shared spaces are organized, equipped, and ready for use.
- Act as back-up to the administrator of the Operations Helpdesk, triaging and categorizing all tickets, calls, and visitors.
- Special projects as needed.
