Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk Check-In_

SWICFT Cardiology, located in downtown Naples, is actively seeking a Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk Check-in for a busy cardiology practice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer patient calls efficiently ensuring patients are able to speak with a team member throughout the day in a timely, polite, and professional manner.
- Communicate with patients in a courteous, professional, cooperative, and mature manner.
- Accurately take messages and convey information to recipient.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
- Collect and input insurance information in patient charts.
- Collect payment/co-pays at check in.
- May be required to perform the duties of other employees in their absence.

**Skills/Requirements**:

- Proficient computer skills with knowledge of electronic medical records.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and organized.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical office experience desired, preferably in cardiology.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
- Clinical experience required.
